Charles Reed Jr.’s Research Project
Sep 25th, 2007 by Charles Reed Jr.
What was the content of James Farmer’s lectures at UMW?
In James Farmer’s time as a professor at UMW, I would like to know what his lectures were like? Was there a special study guide that students had to follow for his lessons? Did he speak mainly from his own experiences growing up during the civil rights movement?
So far, I have gathered information from the UMW library. This information are syllabi from James Farmer’s classes while he taught at UMW. This content gives us an insight on what it would have been like to be a student in his class.

Are you planning on contacting his past students and asking them what the class was like? Other than that, this project sounds really interesting.
This project sound very interesting. It seems like you are on the right track. Are you going to include the Reflections?
